The first season of S.W.A.T. an American police procedural drama television series, premiered on CBS on November 2, 2017, and ended on May 17, 2018, with 22 episodes. It aired on Thursday at 10:00 p.m. The series is based on the 1975 television series of the same name created by Robert Hamner and developed by Rick Husky, and centers on Sergeant Daniel "Hondo" Harrelson and his Special Weapons And Tactics (S.W.A.T.) team operating in Los Angeles.

On February 3, 2017, it was announced that CBS had greenlit production of a pilot episode of a television series inspired by the 2003 film adaptation of the 1970s ABC series S.W.A.T..[24] The pilot was written by Aaron Rahsaan Thomas and Shawn Ryan[25] and directed by Justin Lin.
The new series was ordered by CBS on May 12, 2017. Co-creator and executive producers Thomas and Ryan would serve as the showrunners.[26] The series premiered on November 2, 2017.[27] On November 17, 2017, CBS picked up the series for a full season of 20 episodes[28] and on December 1, 2017, CBS ordered two additional episodes for the first season bringing the total to 22 episodes.[29]
In February 2017, former Criminal Minds cast member Shemar Moore was announced as the Daniel "Hondo" Harrelson,[30] alongside new co-stars Kenny Johnson as Dominic Luca, who was originally named Brian Gamble,[31] and Lina Esco as Christina "Chris" Alonzo, who also originally named Sanchez.[31] Several additional cast members were announced in March 2017. Jay Harrington plays Officer Deacon Kay,[32] Alex Russell is James "Jim" Street,[33] and finally, Peter Onorati was cast as Jeff Mumford,[34] are four member of the S.W.A.T team of the Los Angeles Police Department in the original movie. On September 21, 2017, David Lim was cast in the role of Hondo's new co-member Victor Tan and was later promoted to series regular status for first season.[35]
LAPD SWAT officers are armed with Heckler & Koch HK416D rifles in the series: Hondo's HK416D: has a 10 inch barrel, a Magpul CTR stock, a Magpul PMAG, a DBAL D2 laser, a flashlight, a Trijicon ACOG scope and a Magpul AFG grip; Deacon's HK416D: has a 10 inch barrel, a Magpul CTR stock, a Magpul PMAG, a DBAL D2 laser, a flashlight, a Trijicon MRO sight and a Magpul RVG grip; Street's HK416D: has a 10 inch barrel, a Magpul CTR stock, a Magpul PMAG, a DBAL D2 laser, a flashlight, a Trijicon MRO sight and a Magpul RVG; Tan's HK416D: has a 10 inch barrel, a Magpul CTR stock, a Magpul PMAG, a DBAL D2 laser, a flashlight, a EoTech 552 and in the end of the season has a Trijicon SRS sight and a Magpul RVG grip; Chris's HK416D: has a 10 inch barrel, a Magpul CTR stock, a Magpul PMAG, a DBAL D2 laser, a flashlight, a Trijicon MRO sight and a Magpul RVG. Sam Hawkins (Alex Carter) and the Montrose Mercs use them in "Hunted" (S1E21).
In "Pilot" (S1E01), Dominique Luca (Kenny Johnson) carries a Heckler & Koch MP5A3 with an RIS as his primary weapon. A similar MP5A3 is used by Mumford (Peter Onorati) and by Chris after the first half of the season.
The episode revolves around the Pritchett-Dunphy-Tucker clan and their holiday celebration. And during it Gloria, Joe and Jay have to deal with unwelcome guests. Phil barrows the family Christmas tree for a showing of which Claire is not too pleased about. And Hayley is gearing up to break the family some unexpected news.
During the episode mama Earp is home and the three Earp women are celebrating Christmas. But before they can sit down for a family dinner Wynonna has to find a missing kid. While Waverly gets a chance to finally learn more about her real father. 041b061a72
